Being a company claims itself super green, Starbucks has a policy for long time to give 10 cents discount if you bring your own mug, or tumbler, the word they like to use, basically a mug without handle.
But in this mobile age, when you order your drink from Starbucks App, you don’t have this choice. There is nowhere in the app provides the option that you can use your own drink container, and get a discount of course. I just confirm this with a barista in my neighbourhood store.
It’s kind of disappointing that with so many different options in the app, this one is omitted, intentionally or otherwise. Well, next time, I will still have to use a plastic card to buy Starbucks coffee.
